When Julia was planning her and Logan’s engagement session, she mentioned that she would love to incorporate both the beach and downtown Norfolk locations to tell their love story. I loved the idea! We decided to do the first half of their fall engagement session at Downtown Norfolk’s Waterside District. It was the perfect location to grab romantic waterside views along the marina with the cityscape in the background. Since we were next to some great dining locations, the two picked up some drinks to celebrate the occasion. I knew we would be great friends when Julia ordered a margarita to sip on and Logan revealed his Office socks. Who doesn’t love Margaritas and The Office?

After our trip to the Waterside District, we packed up our stuff, had a quick outfit change, then set off to Shore Drive to finish the day at Chic’s beach. It was an overcast evening, but the water was warm, and the pair were only focused on each other. Through starry eyes and tender kisses, we danced, skipped, and hugged our way through the last of the daylight. I cannot wait for their wedding next year!
